Uridine 5′-diphospho-N-acetylglucosamine (UDP-GlcNAc) is a nucleotide sμgar. It is synthesized from glucose via the hexosamine biosynthetic pathway (HBP). UDP-GlcNAc is transported actively into Golgi, nucleotide sμgar transporter (NST).
