墨汁荚膜染色对于观察新型隐球菌有很好的作用，印度墨汁(India Ink)属于非常优质的墨汁，新型隐球菌菌体周围存在粘多糖荚膜物，用印度墨汁染色法能证明荚膜的存在。染色后新型隐球菌的荚膜取代了墨汁中的胶状碳粒，菌体被清楚无色透明的晕圈环所绕着。

生物染色：合格

用途：生化研究。生物染色剂。

自备材料：离心机；载玻片、盖玻片

操作步骤(仅供参考)：

2、加盖盖玻片，并防止气泡产生。用手指轻轻压一下，使样本与India Ink混合变薄。

背景>>黑色

注意事项

2、India Ink存储时间较长后易产生沉淀，如果镜下发现颗粒粗糙者应过滤后使用或弃用。

4、样本的纯度和浓度应适宜，浓度过低时在镜下很难寻找到新型隐球菌。
